Answer: Many diets programs promote that one's shouldn't eat carbohydrate to lose weight, but this is actually not true.
And actually if you are not eating enough carbohydrates you will need more time to lose weight because your body needs fuel that is found in carbs. And as the only thing you need to adjust when on a diet is the amount of calories you daily eat, it doesn't matter if you eat high or low carb food, you will lose weight anyway if you decrease your caloric intake to less than what you need to maintain your weight. It means that eating less is the key, but you don't need to avoid carbohydrates.
